In short I recommend that you do not buy this series unless a super OCD fan of Tenchi and have to have everything Tenchi even then I wouldn't recommend pay more than ten bucks for it. Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki is supposed to the third season of the original OAV but frankly the show is terrible, setting aside the fact the art style dos not fit with the original OAV or the fact that no one from the original OAV was involved in the making of this series (at least to my knowledge), the story revolves mostly around new charters never seen before in the original OAV, and it barely features Ryoko, Ayeka, Sasami or for that matter Ryo-ohki (her names in the freaking title for Christ's sake) there mostly relegated to background Charters in this series, and to top it off it has lame sappy lets all be friend kind of ending that just make you want to barf.
